MR Création primarily uses natural fibers such as cotton and wool. The organic cotton used comes from controlled organic cultivation . The majority of the fabrics produced are GOTS-certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard verifies compliance with the highest social and environmental standards throughout the entire production chain for the processing of organic natural fibers.

We source the merino wool for our high-quality yarns exclusively from Argentina. Flystrike is not present there, so the wool is naturally mulesing-free. Since animal welfare is a central issue for our company, our organic wool comes only from sheep raised in certified organic conditions.

Mulesing: In the mulesing procedure, excess skin is removed from the lambs' hindquarters without anesthesia to prevent fly larvae from nesting.

For us, sustainability primarily means regional production. All production steps, from the fabric design and pattern making to the dyeing of the yarns, knitting, sewing, assembly, and shipping, take place in-house or at our long-standing local partners in the textile industry.
