JEUNE TRICOTS FABRICS FOR KIKO

Materials and manufacturing

yarns
Natural materials are preferred, and the clothing should be easy to care for – and also affordable. These are not mutually exclusive desires. We utilize all types of fibers. For children's clothing, we primarily use cotton and cotton blends. Easy care is often further enhanced by adding synthetic fibers.

Fabric constructions
Depending on the children's age, there are specific, typical knit fabrics: Nicky, Teddy, and Sweat Jersey are knit fabrics that are particularly well-suited for children's clothing. At jeune-tricot, these are available not only in solid colors but also in stripes, patterns, or textured designs.
Equipment techniques
Color is especially important in children's clothing. It is achieved through garment dyeing or colored yarns. Children's clothing fabrics are dyed, printed, or knitted in vibrant colors. They are also often fulled, brushed, sanded, or compacted. The full range of modern finishing techniques is used in children's clothing.
