For 40 years, the company Maute + Renz Textil GmbH has been successfully producing fabrics for the European clothing industry in the Swabian Alps.
We founded our company 40 years ago here in the textile heart of the Swabian Alps. This long-standing experience has made us specialists in the field of knitted fabrics. Here on site, we are constantly developing unusual textures and special processes for every type of knitwear.
This expertise forms the basis of our product development. We do what not everyone can. Decades of experience in material processing, fabric blending, and knitting techniques are incorporated into our design process.
From this, the unique collections for our own brand Albstoffe are created here on site in regional production.
Since 2000, the company has also had its own circular knitting mill.
Here, the company's specialty products are knitted on 20 electronically controlled circular knitting machines and other special machines.
Since then, knitting, dyeing, and printing have all taken place under one roof in the company building at Goethestraße 84/86. The short distances between these locations are the reason for the company's enormous flexibility.
The company's goal is already defined in its brand name "MR Création": the production of creative knitted fabrics.
At our company, collection creation is a top priority. Inspired by fashion trends, we develop several knitwear collections each year for different target groups.
The technological versatility of the machinery and many years of expertise in knitting technology result in interesting and constantly evolving visual effects. The creative team pays particular attention to selecting the trendiest colors.
Of course, we also incorporate our customers' ideas into new developments. No matter what look, texture, or feel you desire, there's almost nothing we can't knit for you. And we're naturally proud when our customers describe us as "knitting artists" for our work.

Anyone born in Albstadt is born with a passion for textiles. The foundations were laid. Decades ago, every other garage here was used for spinning yarn, knitting, and sewing. Naturally, all the relatives of the company founders were also involved in the knitting industry. This unique expertise is documented across generations in the Albstadt Knitting Museum.
