JEUNE TRICOT

DESIGNER FABRICS

DOB

Textured jersey | Creative jersey

Knitting is trending – this is due, on the one hand, to the end consumer's desire for comfortable and casual clothing, and on the other hand, to the fantastic technical possibilities that knitting offers for creating diverse product designs. It allows for following virtually every fashion trend. Furthermore, knitting is the most efficient and therefore most cost-effective way to produce textile fabrics from yarn.

Jeune tricot doesn't just produce knitted fabrics. Jeune tricot perfects knitted fabrics. They pull out all the stops: yarn selection, weaving techniques, and extensive expertise in finishing techniques result in "jeune tricots".

Materials and manufacturing

yarns
Anything trendy, skin-friendly, and high-quality is fair game when it comes to yarn selection. In developing jeune tricot fabrics, we draw on the entire range of fibers and yarns offered by the European fiber and yarn industry. At jeune tricot, we specialize in natural fibers from both plant and animal sources.

Equipment techniques
Women's knitwear fabrics are sometimes meant to "flow," "be crepey," or "have structure." These and many other properties are largely influenced by the finishing techniques. Jeune Tricot utilizes the diverse possibilities offered by modern dyeing and dry finishing technology. Jeune Tricot fabrics are printed using transfer printing, wet printing, or now also direct digital printing. Surfaces are made warm or skin-friendly through raising, sanding, or now also brushing. Color is introduced through piece dyeing or the use of colored yarns.
